Barbara Evans has studied classical, popular, and operatic vocal techniques with well known teachers in and around Boston. She, herself, has been a vocal instructor since the mid-1970's, teaching students of all ages and vocal ranges from beginners to professionals.

Barbara has been performing as a vocalist since 1970 when she began her career with "The Showstoppers", a musical troupe led by the legendary Lee Daniels. Since that time her professional singing career has taken her to well-known clubs, lounges, restaurants and hotels throughout New England, where her repertoire focuses on Top 40, popular, jazz and swing.

In 1994, Barbara found a new joy when she began bringing her uplifting musical programs to senior centers, nursing homes and assisted-living facilities in the greater Boston area.
